Buganda Kingdom has handed over a cheque of Shs 20m to Busoga Kingdom for the preparations of the royal wedding of Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV and her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi.
The Katikiro f Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga handedover the cheque to the Katukiro of Busoga Dr.Joseph Muvawala at Bulange Mengo extending Buganda’s blessings to Busonga upon receiving Inebantu Jovia Mutesi who will be responsible for taking care of the Kyabazinga in ensuring that he fulfills his obligations.
He recommitted Buganda Kingdom’s readiness to keep the working relationship enjoyed for decades with Busoga Kingdom.
The Katukiro of Busoga Dr.Joseph Muvawala welcomed that funds and thanked the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II for his continued guidance and wisdom and later handed over an invitation card to the katukiro inviting the kabaka of Buganda to be part of the Kyabazinga’s wedding slated for 18th November 2023 at Christ’s Cathedral Bugembe in Jinja City.
