This has been disclosed by the Executive Director of the Uganda Manufacturers Association Ezra Muhumuza while addressing the press ahead of this year’s trade fair that will kick off from 3rd – 10th October at UMA Show grounds.

President Yoweri Museveni is set to open this year’s trade fair and the secretary general for the East African community Peter Mathuki will close the event.

Muhumuza says that over 100 local and international exhibitors will participate in the week-long trade exhibition that will host representatives from 30 countries that include China, South Africa among others.

Muhumuza adds that this year they have zoned categories of exhibitors that include small, medium and big manufactures and the entrance will be 10,000 thus calling upon Ugandans to go and buy commodities since they will have products being sold at a discount of 60%.

The Kampala Metropolitan Traffic Commander, SSP Gordon Arinaitwe assured Ugandans of security 24/7 deployment since they will have two parking spaces one at the Phillip omondi stadium and Nakawa KCCA grounds.
