PFF Mourns Nakimuli, Hails Her as Courageous Voice for Justice

Late Kalangala District Woman MP, Hellen Nakimuli.

The opposition People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) has extended heartfelt condolences to its sister opposition party, the National Unity Platform (NUP), as well as to the family and friends of the late Kalangala District Woman MP, Hellen Nakimuli.

Nakimuli reportedly passed away in Kampala while undergoing a minor surgical procedure.

Speaking at a press conference held at the PFF headquarters along Katonga Road, Michael Lulume Bayigga, the party’s Deputy President, described the late legislator as a courageous and outspoken leader.

Bayigga noted that Nakimuli would be remembered for her bold stance against human rights violations, which made her a powerful voice not only within her party but also in the broader struggle for justice and accountability in Uganda.

He added that her passing is a significant loss to the opposition and the country at large, urging leaders to continue advancing the values she stood for.

The People’s Front for Freedom joined other leaders and Ugandans in mourning Hellen Nakimuli, while offering prayers for strength and comfort to her family during this difficult time.
