The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, through her school, Bukedea Comprehensive Institute, has contributed kits worth 100 million shillings to support the 52nd birthday run of Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The donation was officially handed over to David Kabanda and Michael Mawanda at the offices of the Patriotic League of Uganda in Naguru.
The charity run is scheduled to take place on April 26, 2026, at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
Among praised Kainerugaba for dedicating his birthday to charitable causes aimed at supporting vulnerable children and giving them hope.
She noted that acts of kindness toward the needy bring blessings to those who give.
Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Patriotic League of Uganda, Kabanda, commended the Speaker for her contribution and pledged support for her bid for the speakership in the 12th Parliament.
