Prince Kassim Nakibinge has called on politicians to set aside partisan interests and focus on enacting laws and policies that benefit all Ugandans.
Speaking shortly after Eid al-Adha prayers held at his residence in Kibuli, Prince Nakibinge reminded leaders that the election period had ended, stressing that their current responsibility is to serve all citizens, including those who did not support them at the ballot box.
He emphasized the need for unity, fairness, and accountable leadership, noting that Ugandans expect improved service delivery and better living conditions rather than continued political divisions and rivalry.
Turning to public health concerns, Prince Nakibinge commended health workers for their continued dedication in responding to the Ebola outbreak.
He also urged the public to strictly adhere to health guidelines and preventive measures issued by authorities to help contain the spread of the disease.
