Radio Sapientia Managing Director Rev. Fr. Eustachius Lwemarika has singled out the innovations by the dot.com (internet) era to be the major challenge faced by the youths towards their faith and ability to work.

He says that many youths have failed to work and strengthen their faith in God and instead resorted to access internet by the modern telecommunication technology especially on smart phones.

Fr. Lwemarika who is also the Financial Administrator for Uganda Catholic Secretariat (UCS) said this while gracing the get together day celebration for youths from the Kampala Ecclesiastical province at Radio Sapientia Nsambya over the weekend.

The function was intended to thank God for their achievements and set targets for self help and development through Radio Sapientia Youth Program “Amayengo g’obuvubuka” that runs every Wednesday at 10pm.

They started with a Eucharistic celebration led by the Managing Director Radio Sapientia who acknowledged their potential in life, more so being the leaders of today which opportunity must be cherished and protected for the Church and national development.

The Youth came from the five Luganda speaking Catholic Dioceses include Masaka, Kampala, Luwero, Kiyinda Mityana and Lugazi and agreed to form a SACCO to support them.
