The Chairman of Parliamentary Health Committee Dr. Michael Bukenya has expressed concern over the way the testing procedure is handled at the boarder point of Mutukula.

Dr. Bukenya had lead a team of MPs on the same committee who are on the fact finding mission on how Uganda is prepared to test and treat patients with COVID-19.

At Mutukula the members said in the period of 45 minutes as drivers wait for their results, no standard operating procedures SOPs are observed among them, no social distancing, wearing of masks and hand washing.

They contend that such places might be a raspy to spread Coronavirus. They have called on the ministry of health to review their operations.
