Vipers SC set for thrilling clash with SC Villa in Stanbic Uganda Cup quarterfinals

The Stanbic Uganda Cup quarterfinals are set to deliver intense action following the draw held on Monday at Kansai Plascon headquarters in Kampala.

Vipers SC, three-time champions, will face a fierce challenge against nine-time winners SC Villa in what is expected to be one of the standout fixtures of the round.

The match will take place at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende, with both teams bringing their rich histories and high stakes into the competition.

Vipers, who eliminated Blacks Power in the round of 16, will be looking to assert their dominance, while SC Villa, fresh from overcoming Lugazi FC, are determined to add another Uganda Cup trophy to their collection.

Defending champions Kitara FC will take on 2022 winners BUL FC in another exciting quarterfinal clash. Meanwhile, Police FC, coached by Matia Lule, will face Kataka FC, who have made a name for themselves this season with impressive performances.

KCCA FC, with ten Uganda Cup titles, will travel to Kaaro Karungi, where they’ll face a determined local side eager to make a statement.

The quarterfinals will take place between April 18th and 22nd, and in the event of a draw after normal time, extra time and penalties will determine the winner.
