Honda by Markh, a leading motorcycle dealer in Uganda, is expanding its presence across the country under Markh Investments.
The company now operates branches in Ndeeba, Lugogo, Kawempe, Banda, Nansana, and Kyengera, and also serves towns including Jinja and Lira. It specializes in commercial motorcycles, particularly boda bodas, offering 110cc and 125cc gear-four models.
Speaking to Radio Sapientia, Retail Head George Okello said the motorcycles are strong, fuel-efficient, and designed for comfort, with long carriers that can carry more than two passengers.
Okello noted that Honda by Markh has been in the market for four years and is recognized for reliability and low maintenance. He added that the Japanese-imported oil used in the motorcycles requires changing once a month, ensuring smooth performance with regular servicing.
Customers can purchase the motorcycles either in cash, starting from about 5.5 million shillings, or through financing options offered by partners such as Watu, Mogo, and Centenary Bank, among others.
He said young buyers can access flexible payment plans, with loans ranging from 250,000 to 600,000 shillings, repayable daily or weekly over up to 24 months.
To qualify for financing, applicants are required to present a national ID, a reliable Ugandan guarantor, proof of location or storage, and passport-sized photographs.
Okello encouraged Ugandans to take advantage of the opportunity to own affordable and reliable Honda motorcycles, saying the initiative supports business growth and improves transport services across the country.
