The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, has announced that the 11th Parliament will officially conclude on Thursday, May 8, 2026, following the completion of its legislative business.
Speaking during today’s plenary session, Speaker Among noted that most parliamentary committees have finalized their reports and bills.
She urged members to complete all remaining items on the order paper to ensure a smooth transition to the next parliamentary term.
The session on May 8 will mark the final sitting of the 11th Parliament.
