The Common man’s Party (CMP) has presented 13 candidates for the parliamentary seats with a warning to security forces never to disrupt their campaign rallies.
Among the candidates released include; Joshua Mutekanga for Busiro South, Rwamitti Appuli -Nakawa West,Fred Ssegawa-Jjinja City (North),Moses Bigirwa-Kamuli Municipality , Muhammad Okwi – Baale county – kayunga district etc
The Electoral Commission set Today 10th November 2025 as the official date set for the starting of the Parliamentary, District, Mayors and Councillors’ candidates campaign.
Now addressing journalists at party’s headquarters in Mengo, John Front Ngalula the party Deputy Spokesperson said that most of their candidate failed to be nominated but managed to have 13 candidates who will compete in the race with other party candidates.
Ngalula however calls upon security forces for limiting their candidates from reaching out to their supporters.
He calls upon Ugandan to support CMP presidential candidates to bring the long waited change in Uganda.
