Airtel Uganda has partnered with Cisco to launch a new service called Network as a Service (NaaS), a subscription-based enterprise solution that enables businesses to access scalable, secure, and fully managed network infrastructure without needing to invest upfront in hardware.
Speaking at the launch, Rajesh Agarwal, Networking Director at Airtel Uganda, said the company envisions a future where businesses in Uganda can concentrate on serving customers, creating jobs, and driving innovation, without the burden of managing complex IT systems.
He noted that this new model represents a fundamental shift in how enterprise networking is delivered.
With the introduction of this service, Airtel Uganda is reaffirming its commitment to supporting the country’s digital economy through the provision of reliable, innovative, and inclusive solutions.
