President Yoweri Museveni is heading to Teso Sub-Region for the Parish Development Model (PDM) performance assessment tour.

In a brief statement from the Presidential Press Unit (PPU), the general public is informed that the President Museveni will take his tour to Teso Sub-Region from November 18th to 20th 2024 where he will meet stakeholders including various categories of leaders and technical staff to answer questions about the performance of PDM.

Government launched the implementation of the PDM at Kibuku Primary School, Kibuku district in Bukedi Sub-region in February 2022 using a whole-of-Government approach.

PDM is aimed at attaining socio-economic transformation based on improved productivity in households and enterprises at the parish level.

This financial year 2024/25 Government promised a sum of Shs 1.059 trillion for PDM meaning that each parish shall get an additional Shs 100 million to benefit more households.

President Museveni will also address public rallies in Soroti City and the respective districts in the Teso sub region.
