Nabbanja Reaffirms Commitment After Retaining Prime Minister Post in New Cabinet

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has reaffirmed her commitment to dedicated service following her re-appointment to the same position by President Yoweri Museveni in the newly announced cabinet.

Nabbanja, who also serves as the Kakumiro District Woman Member of Parliament, expressed deep gratitude to God, the President, her constituents, and her family for their continued support, saying the reappointment came as a surprise.

In her message to residents of Kakumiro, Nabbanja pledged to continue serving with diligence and integrity, drawing on her leadership experience and commitment to improving service delivery for Ugandans.

President Museveni on Tuesday night released a new cabinet list, retaining Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja as Prime Minister, alongside Rt. Hon. Jessica Alupo as Vice President and Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni as Minister of Education and Sports, among others.

The appointments also featured several leaders from the Bunyoro Sub-region, including Eng. Jonard Asiimwe, the NRM Vice Chairperson for Western Uganda, who was named Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation.

Hon. Fred Byamukama, MP for Bugangaizi, was elevated to full Minister for Works and Transport, while Hon. Balaam Barugahara was appointed Minister for Local Government.

Additionally, Mary Grace Mugasa, previously State Minister for Public Service, was appointed Minister for Bunyoro Affairs.
