Archbishop Augustine Kasujja Papal Nuncio Emeritus

Hundreds of Christian, friends and well-wishers have filled St. Joseph’s Kawaala Sub- Parish in Nakulabye Parish Kampala Archdiocese for a double ecclesial celebration today.

They have celebrated their Golden Jubilee since the founding of this Sub-Parish and their patron saint’s day St. Joseph the worker whose feast is celebrated on 1st May.

The function was graced by Archbishop Augustine Kasujja Papal Nuncio Emeritus who implored Christians to learn from Saint Joseph, a just, patient and hardworking man.

Archbishop Kasujja says stressful moments have due to daily demands and needs in the world today have left many people traumatized and psychologically tortured. Most times many fail to control their tempers and end up a shaming themselves and those around them.

He questioned how many how many would withstand their proposed girl friends pregnant and respect it like it was found with Mary when they got married with Joseph. But his patience through the Holy Spirit managed to withstand all that and leaves a lot to learn from by the Christians today.

Archbishop Kasujja challenged the congregation to live exemplary life, with a clear identity, acceptable in the society, work hard, love their families and faith like Saint Joseph lived.

He hailed Rev. Fr. Simon Peter Kikomeko Lule the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Fatima Nakulabye Parish for the pastoral guidance and support that has seen Kawaala Sub-Parish achieve growth and development in the last 50 years.

He also opened and blessed the newly constructed Mother Mary Grotto that is going to help in deepening faith among the Christians.
