The President General of the Democratic Party Norbert Mao has joined the NRM Members of Parliament for their retreat starting tomorrow 8th to 15th April 2026.
The retreat that is going to take place at the National Leadership Institute NALI in Kyankwanzi, has attracted all NRM legislators-elect, independent MPs elect, and party officials are attending.
Mao urges MPs to take their roles seriously, saying the retreat aims to give them a new consciousness and make them key players in shaping Uganda’s future.
The secretary general of NRM Richard Todwong noted that all attendees are supposed to be transported from Kololo to NALI, they are supposed to go without any mobile phone or firearm. The retreat will officially be opened tomorrow 8th April by the President Yoweri Museveni the Party Chairman.
