Sheikh Yunus Kamoga, the Amil Umar of Tabliq in Uganda

At Nakivubo Blue Primary School, where the Tabriq sect held Eid prayers, Sheikh Yunus Kamoga, the Amil Umar of Tabliq in Uganda, urged Muslims to carry forward the lessons of Ramadan as the fasting period concludes.

Speaking through Sheikh January Ibrahim Mayengo during the Eid celebrations, Sheikh Kamoga encouraged the faithful to maintain politeness, a strong prayer life, and the spirit of self-sacrifice for others even after Ramadan.

He highlighted some of the achievements of the Muslim community during the holy month and used the occasion to appeal to the government for special consideration of Muslims in appointments to various government positions, emphasizing the importance of inclusive representation.
