NRM Presidential flag bearer, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, has commended the residents of Nansana and Wakiso for embracing the Parish Development Model (PDM), noting that over 52 billion shillings have been injected into more than 47,000 households under the program.

During his first rally at the Kawanda Agricultural Research Institute playground, Museveni assured the residents of continued support and increased funding for the PDM.

He emphasized that the program’s goal is grassroots wealth creation, aligning with NRM’s long-term path of socioeconomic transformation, which has been ongoing since 1997.

Museveni urged voters to choose NRM to ensure the continued development of the country.

He also encouraged the people of Nansana and Wakiso to actively participate in Parish SACCO discussions, which are essential for the successful implementation of the PDM.

The President guided the residents on selecting viable economic enterprises in four key sectors: commercial agriculture, artisan and manufacturing, services, and ICT.

Museveni stressed the wealth and job creation potential in these sectors, providing examples of how they can uplift the local economy.

He called on voters to re-elect NRM, promising continued wealth creation and job opportunities for all.
