The Opposition leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Robert Kyagulanyi, is campaigning in Yumbe and Koboko districts in West Nile.
Earlier, he held a rally in Koboko, where he criticized the government for the region’s persistent underdevelopment.
Kyagulanyi highlighted that in the five years since 2021, no new roads have been constructed, despite taxpayers’ contributions.
He also accused President Yoweri Museveni of being “scared of the young generation,” attributing this fear to the administration’s failures during its tenure.
Kyagulanyi urged attendees to actively engage in politics and participate in decision-making processes that affect their communities.
Following his visit to Yumbe, he proceeded to Koboko to continue his campaign activities.
