Hundreds of supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP) gathered in Mbarara District to welcome their president and presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, as part of his campaign trail.
Kyagulanyi is currently touring Mbarara City as part of his election campaign, although, at the time of reporting, he had not yet addressed the gathered crowd.
In the meantime, NUP Secretary General David Lewis Lubongoya took the stage and called on the people of Mbarara to vote for change, urging them to support Kyagulanyi if they sought improvements in key sectors such as education, agriculture, health, and infrastructure, including roads.
