Double Q, the authorized distributor of SINOTRUK and XCMG road equipment in Uganda, has announced a strategic partnership with global forklift manufacturer Heli to provide affordable, reliable, and efficient material handling solutions for the country’s growing industrial sector.
Speaking at the launch, Bruce Lin, Managing Director of Double Q, said the collaboration responds to a surge in demand for forklifts driven by increased factory activity and industrial expansion.
He revealed that the new range includes electric, diesel, and gas-powered forklifts, all offered with flexible payment terms to support local businesses.
Lin particularly emphasized the cost-efficiency of electric forklifts, which help reduce fuel and maintenance costs while offering convenient charging options for industrial users.
Frank Song, Heli’s Regional Director for Africa and the Middle East, reaffirmed the brand’s global credentials, stating that Heli has maintained its position as China’s leading forklift brand for 34 consecutive years and is currently ranked seventh globally.
He expressed optimism about Uganda’s potential to become one of the top markets in the region.
The endorsement was echoed by Busingye Rwabwogo, General Manager of Operations at Mukwano Group of Companies, who described Heli forklifts as dependable and affordable, and commended Double Q for their responsive customer service and hands-on training support.
The partnership underscores Double Q’s commitment to strengthening Uganda’s logistics, manufacturing, and industrial infrastructure by making high-quality equipment more accessible.
