Airtel Africa Foundation has announced an ambitious plan to improve the lives of 10 million people across the continent by 2030 through initiatives centered on financial empowerment, education, environmental protection, and digital inclusion.

Speaking to the media, Foundation Chairman Segun Ogunsanya emphasized the goal of nurturing talent and driving innovation to ensure no African is left behind in the global digital revolution.

Among the flagship programs is “Connecting Schools,” which provides free internet access and devices to educational institutions.

Airtel Africa’s CEO, Sunil Taldar, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to “connect the unconnected, bank the unbanked, and enable economies to thrive.”

The Foundation’s programs will be implemented across all Airtel’s markets, including Uganda, Nigeria, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
