The National Director Caritas Uganda a social arm of the Catholic Church Rev. Fr. Hillary Muhenzangango has called for Humility in our life.
He says God gifted all of us in different ways which talents most times leave many with pride and fail to serve helplessly.
Most people today are short of this weakness they are so proud because of their abilities or what they have earned in terms of wealth, education, authority among others. However God condemns pride, he says those who are in the high positions should serve others.
Fr. Muhenzangango said this during the Sunday homily today at Radio Sapientia adding that Humility is way to holiness.
Fr. Muhenzangango has commended all those who have sacrificed to participate in today’s cancer run an initiative aimed at supporting cancer treatment in Uganda.
Fr. Muhenzangango has also reminded Ugandans about the children’s support program started by Caritas Uganda (Childcare and Emergency Relief Program – CERP) to support the children in need at least each person is called upon to contribute 5000/= a month to the cause.
The contribution can be channeled through a bank account in Centenary Bank under the Bank Account name; CARITAS EMERGENCY RELIEF AND CHILDCARE PLUS PROGRAM 3100105128.
