Over 100 PFF members pick nomination forms for parliamentary seats

PFF Electoral Commission Chairperson Michael Kabaziguluka

At least 110 members of the opposition political party, People’s Front for Freedom (PFF), have picked nomination forms to contest for various parliamentary seats across the country on the party’s ticket.

Addressing journalists at the party headquarters on Katonga Road in Kampala today, PFF Electoral Commission Chairperson Michael Kabaziguluka revealed that the process began on Monday, June 23, 2025.

He noted that the strong early turnout reflects growing momentum within the party, and he expects the numbers to rise significantly before the nomination deadline on July 31, 2025.

However, Kabaziguluka noted that delays in the issuance of the party’s certificate by the National Electoral Commission have disrupted some internal processes. Despite this, he expressed confidence that the party will catch up with the national electoral roadmap.

He emphasized that while members can collect nomination forms from any party branch nationwide, the actual nomination process will take place at the national party headquarters on Katonga Road in Kampala to ensure transparency and accountability.

Kabaziguluka encouraged more party members to take part in the process by picking up nomination forms.
