The Bishop of Moroto Diocese, Rt. Rev. Damian Giuseppe has asked Christians to always be humble regardless of their status in society.

He said this while leading a Eucharistic celebration in Hoima Diocese at the ongoing National Catholic Youth Conference.

Drawing from the day’s readings, Bishop Giuseppe said Christians should copy the example of John the Baptist who never competed or equated himself to the position of Jesus.

Today’s mass has been attended by the Bishop of the host diocese, Rt. Rev. Vincent Kirabo Amooti plus a number of priests especially Youth Chaplains from different dioceses. 

The conference organized annually, focuses on bringing young people closer to Christ but also share experiences on how to live a productive Christian life.

The Conference includes among other activities; praise and worship, question and answer sessions and talks on different professional subjects that help in modeling the youth.
