The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has finalized the preparations for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) for 2024 which is due next week on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th November 2024.

Jennifer Kalule Musamba, the UNEB Spokesperson says that the briefing of various contracted professionals will be conducted this week while candidates will be briefed on Monday next week at their schools.

Kalule says that they only expect primary head teachers and Primary Seven teachers to ensure that the candidates are carefully briefed to follow the instructions as guided in the timetables that have already been distributed.

She however urges parents to also attend the briefing sessions of the candidates.

Kalule meanwhile warns against teaching and coaching of candidates once the briefing is done.

She also calls upon the various faith affiliations to join the examinations board in praying for and dedicating the P.7 candidates from Friday November 1st to Sunday November 3rd, 2024.
