The Government of Uganda has reiterated its commitment to creating a favourable environment for investors to establish, expand and grow their businesses in the country.
The assurance was made by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Hon. Sanjay Tanna, while delivering remarks at the 3rd Uganda Trade and Roadshow Conference held today in Kampala.
Tanna said Uganda has the capacity and an enabling policy framework to support businesses to operate and thrive.
He also assured investors that they should not be worried about their investments, noting that the country enjoys a stable security environment.
Tanna urged investors to take advantage of the opportunities available in Uganda and contribute to the country’s industrial and economic growth.
This year’s trade mission is being held under the theme, “Driving Innovation and Industrial Growth.”
