Minister for General Duties Justine Kasule Lumumba has hailed the Church and the clerics for nurturing the society.
She says Priests and the religious continue to strive for faith, good morals and values although a few times some people slip but I could be due to laps within the family setting like the killer of toddlers in Ggaba.
On the ongoing demolitions in different parts of the country Lumumba said laws have to be implemented and the country re-organised to ensure security, sanity and beauty.
Delivering the government message at Lubaga Cathedral called on all Ugandans to support the NRM government as it starts the new political term on 12th Mary 2026/31, those who lost and on the opposition should stand together to build the country Uganda.
She also called for counseling for those who lost in the general elections because some have lost the sense of direction.
