Diabetes and hypertension have emerged as the most common health issues among residents attending the Buganda Kingdom’s health camp in Bulemeezi County.

Thousands of people have sought medical attention at the two-day camp, held at Kasana St. Jude Primary School”], adjacent to the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kasana-Luweero.

The camp began on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, and concludes today, Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

The Buganda Kingdom organizes these medical camps annually on a rotational basis across its 18 counties.

This year, Bulemeezi County, which encompasses the districts of Luweero District, Nakaseke District, and part of Nakasongola District—was selected to host the camp.
