The Bishop Emeritus of Kotido diocese, Rt. Rev. Filippi Giuseppe has appealed to young people to develop a spirit of love both for fellow men and the environment.
He says this is a responsibility that everyone must carry-on. He was leading the holy sacrifice of mass this morning at the 2025 national youth conference that is taking place at Sacred Heart Secondary school play grounds in Gulu archdiocese.
Mass was led by Kampala ecclesiastical province youth apostolate. Bishop Giuseppe says young people have a lot to worry about their future. However, he says when they develop a spirit of love and care for each other, they will be able to climb mountains and no mountain will be impossible for them.
The annual youth conference is intended to bring young people closer to Jesus started on Tuesday and Sunday the 14th of December 2025 will be the climax.
The conference has attracted participants from across the nineteen dioceses of Uganda and from neighbour.
