Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Nathan Nandala Mafabi has urged residents of Bufuuja Kanchonga Trading Centre in Butaleja District to vote for him in the upcoming general elections if they want to eradicate poverty in their communities.
While addressing a gathering in the area this morning, Nandala Mafabi criticized the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) government, saying it has lost touch with ordinary Ugandans after nearly 40 years in power.
He appealed to voters to elect him and FDC flagbearers in January next year as a path toward meaningful change.
“If you want to wipe out poverty and improve your lives, do not waste your vote. Vote for leadership that cares and delivers,” Nandala said.
He pledged to prioritize national development by improving key social infrastructure, including better roads, quality healthcare, and a stronger education system.
Positioning himself as the most capable among the eight presidential contenders, Nandala described his candidacy as the best chance for Ugandans seeking a new direction for the country.
