NRM Launches Village-Based Mobilization Handbook Ahead of 2026 Elections

Rosemary Nansubuga Ssenninde, the NRM Director of Mobilization

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has officially launched a leaders’ handbook aimed at guiding village-based mobilization efforts ahead of the 2026 general elections.

The newly released guide outlines the structure, sequence, and key highlights of grassroots mobilization strategies designed to strengthen the party’s presence at the village level.

The initiative is intended to help the NRM secure an even larger electoral victory than in the 2021 elections.

Speaking at the launch event held at the party’s headquarters in Kampala, Rosemary Nansubuga Ssenninde, the NRM Director of Mobilization, emphasized that the village-based model reflects the critical role of branch-level leadership in managing party affairs.

Ssenninde noted that the handbook serves as a call to action for party leaders across the country, urging them to actively promote the core message of protecting the gains made under NRM leadership and consolidating the party’s achievements over the years.
