Police Spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke

The Uganda Police have officially responded to allegations made by presidential advisor and singer Jennifer Full Figure, born Jennifer Namutebi Nakangubi, who claims she was assaulted and robbed by former parliamentary aspirant Justin Nameere and her husband.

According to Police Spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke, the alleged incident occurred on Friday, August 29, along Kyadondo Road, as Full Figure was on her way to attend a press conference organized by former CEC contender Moses Kalangwa.

In her report, Full Figure stated that she was intercepted, physically assaulted, and had her mobile phone and UGX 500,000 stolen during the encounter.

She subsequently filed a formal complaint at the Kampala Metropolitan Police Headquarters and recorded a statement with investigators.

Rusoke confirmed that detectives have visited the scene of the alleged crime and identified witnesses to aid the ongoing investigation.

In response to social media claims that Full Figure has unresolved legal cases at Katwe Police Station and Central Police Station (CPS) Kampala, Rusoke dismissed the reports as unfounded rumors. He clarified that no formal complaints or active cases are currently registered against her at either station.

The police have assured the public of a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter as they continue to gather evidence.
