Over 190 Aspirants Pick Presidential Nomination Forms as Nsereko, Enap Join Race

The President of the Ecological Party of Uganda, Mohammed Nsereko, and Denis Adim Enap of a Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) faction are among the latest individuals to pick presidential nomination forms from the Electoral Commission (EC), bringing the number of aspirants to over 190.

Speaking at the EC offices, Nsereko announced that his campaign will be centered on key national issues including fighting corruption, promoting justice, addressing inequality, and increasing salaries for public servants.

He called on Ugandans to rally behind the Ecological Party’s manifesto, stating it holds the solutions to the country’s pressing challenges.

“The ecological party manifesto will meet all the expectations of Ugandans,” Nsereko emphasized.

Meanwhile, Denis Adim Enap, representing a UPC faction, outlined his campaign priorities, which include improving service delivery and strengthening the healthcare system, among other developmental goals.

The increasing number of presidential aspirants highlights the growing political momentum ahead of the upcoming general elections.
