Kampala Archdiocese is set for ordinations tomorrow, August 9, 2025.
A record number of 24 deacons will be ordained to the priesthood, while seven seminarians will be ordained as deacons.
The 24 new priests come from across all 74 parishes within the Archdiocese.
Notably, St. Joseph’s Nansana, Our Lady Assumption Mitala Maria, and Our Lady of Perpetual Succor Naddangira Parishes will each receive two priests.
The ordination ceremony will begin at 10a.m. and will be led by the Archbishop of Kampala, His Grace Paul Ssemogerere.
