The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, has called on Ugandans, especially the youth, to remain vigilant in protecting themselves against HIV/AIDS, which he described as a continuing health threat among young people.
He made the remarks while launching the 21st edition of the Airtel Masaza Cup tournament at Bulange, Mengo.
While addressing the gathering, Katikkiro Mayiga emphasized the need to prioritize talent development.
He noted that the Buganda Kingdom is actively working to elevate Masaza teams into competitive, professional clubs capable of participating in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
