The Bishop of the Church of Uganda in Nebbi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Pons Awinjo Ozelle, has called on youths and students to be ambassadors of God’s goodness in their communities.

He made the remarks while addressing the Youth and Students Conference at the Anglican Site in Namugongo, ahead of the Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations scheduled for June 3rd.

Bishop Ozelle emphasized the values of kindness, love, and living in accordance with Christ’s teachings.

Acknowledging the challenges and disappointments that life may bring, he encouraged young people to remain strong in faith and committed to doing good, regardless of the circumstances.

Speaking under the theme “A Young Generation that Initiates God’s Goodness,” the Bishop urged the youth to persevere in spreading God’s love and to be a positive influence in society.

In a significant development, Bishop Ozelle also officially launched the Provincial Youth Policy a strategic framework aimed at promoting gospel-centered fellowship and guiding the spiritual development of young people within the Church of Uganda.
