Catholic Priest urges Christians to use God-given gifts to avoid drugs, improve lives

Use God-given gifts to avoid drugs

Rev. Fr. Peter Clever Tamale from Wakiso Catholic Parish has called on Christians to effectively utilize their God-given gifts to improve their socio-economic and spiritual well-being.

During the commemoration of 25 years of existence for St. Ann General Traders in Nsambya, Fr. Tamale emphasized that each person is endowed with unique talents and abilities intended to benefit both themselves and society.

He lamented that many individuals tend to misuse these gifts, wasting them on unproductive pursuits rather than harnessing them for positive development.

Fr. Tamale urged everyone to reflect on their talents and abilities, encouraging them to use these gifts to uplift their lives and those around them.

Additionally, Fr. Tamale advised youths to avoid drug abuse, warning that such habits hinder personal growth and future success.

He emphasized that abstaining from drugs is essential for building a bright and prosperous future.

His message underscores the importance of self-awareness and responsible use of talents, advocating for a community that leverages its God-given gifts for collective progress and spiritual fulfillment.
