Two Security Guards killed during armed robbery at Mukono Petrol Station; Suspects loot cash and phones

In a tragic incident at the Chard Energy petrol station along Katosi Road in Mukono district, security guards Deo Senabulya, 50, and Joseph Onyaiti Joseph, 25, were brutally murdered during a robbery.

According to police reports, the attackers, armed with a blunt object, overpowered the guards, stole their firearm, and used it to rob station attendants Kevin Domanye and Jovita Tessa of approximately Shs 3 million in cash and their phones.

Patrick Onyango, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, confirmed that officers responded swiftly to the scene and recovered the stolen rifle near the railway line.

The bodies of the deceased guards were taken to Mulago Hospital for post-mortem examinations as investigations into the incident continue.
