The opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu says there is no amount of intimidation be it from the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) and First Son Gen. Muhoozi Keneirugaba will stop him from speaking about the ongoings in the country.

Through his X platform, Gen. Keneirugabastated that the only person protecting Kyagulanyi from him is his father President Museveni otherwise he would have beheaded him yesterday.

While addressing the press at the NUP headquarters at Makerere-Kavule, Kawempe Division in Kampala, Kyagulanyi said that no one will stop him from telling Ugandans the truth because they must take informed decisions if they are to change the way they are governed.

Kyagulanyi has also condemned CDF for his warnings of arresting and detaining all District Police Commanders (DPCs) who fear detaining any person exposing mistakes committed by the Government.

Meanwhile, Kyagulanyi has maintained that President Museveni has no powers to overturn the constitutional right to grant suspects Police Bond or court bail as he asserted in his New Year address to the country.

He concluded by rallying the youths to register in big numbers when the Electoral Commission opens the registration exercise and fully participate in the coming general elections at all levels as they are key stakeholders in bringing change and peace in Uganda.
