The Government Chief Whip (GCW) Denis Hamson Obua has called for a National Resistance Movement (NRM) Parliamentary Caucus retreat this week on Friday November 1st 2024.

In a letter from his office, the caucus will be held in Kisozi, Gomba district at President Yoweri Museveni’s farm.

Obua also asked NRM MPs to test for Covid-19 from Parliament on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st 2024 in Conference Hall B at Parliament Building.

The letter has also noted that the departure to Kisozi will be on Friday November 1st 2024 at the South Wing Parliamentary Parking and all the attendees have been advised to carry with them appropriate foot wear as there will be some farm tours.

However, the main agenda of the caucus is not yet clear but it is believed that the Coffee Amendment Bill which has stirred a lot of debate in parliament is top on the agenda.
