Archbishop Kasujja Tips St. Joseph’s Pupils on Success ahead of PLE

The Apostolic Nuncio Emeritus Archbishop Augustine Kasujja

The Apostolic Nuncio Emeritus Archbishop Augustine Kasujja has advised believers to increase their faith in order to be saved from all threats and discouragements.

This was in his homily as he celebrated Holy Mass at St. Joseph’s Nsambya Girls Primary School where he administered sacraments to a total of 100 children.

Out of this total, 37 candidates received their first Holy Communication, 32 received the Sacrament of Confirmation and 31 made their final baptism commitments in faith.

He made it clear that there are many people out there who have lost faith with no reason hence encouraging young people never to turn away from promises made to Christ, but rather encouraged them to confidently go and convert the world by proclaiming Christ as the Lord publicly.

He however consoled those with parents who cannot afford taking their children to school due various circumstances such as wars.

At the same occasion, he blessed and dedicated to God the school’s primary seven candidates who are remaining with days to sit their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

Meanwhile, Sr. Monica Naabirye, the Head teacher of the school said that the annual thanksgiving of the school is intended to give gratitude to God for the achievements they have attained which included the commissioning of the newly constructed school gate by Archbishop Kasujja.

She thanked whoever contributed towards all their achievements throughout the year and promised a good performance in the upcoming PLE exams which they have started preparing for with a blessing from Archbishop Kasujja, which will be followed by a Novena dedicating their candidates to Saint Joseph, the Patron Saint of the school.
