Couples Urged to Prioritize Love to Overcome Challenges

Couples Urged to Prioritize Love

The Vicar for Professionals in Kampala Archdiocese, Msgr. Dr. Lawrence Ssemusu has commended married couples who overcome the ups and downs they face because of love and encouraged others in the institution of marriage to do the same.

He said this while presiding over thanksgiving mass for 25 years of Holy Matrimony by Lawrence Muwonge and Susan Agnes Muwonge, the proprietors of Buddo Secondary School and St. Francis Buddo Primary School.

In the mass held at Lubaga Cathedral on Friday morning, Msgr. Ssemusu noted that celebrating 25 years in marriage is no mean feat but a story of achievements, trust and milestones of a strong love and blessing from God.

However, Dr. Ssemusu warned that besides all the achievements, married couples must be mindful of the tears and challenges that cometh on their way and find ways to conquer them as Mr. and Mrs. Muwonge have managed, adding that there is no institution where challenges are not experienced.

Hundreds of faithful from various religious affiliations, friends and academia joined the couple in this thanksgiving.
