Student leaders from public universities have accused Captain Sula Sserunjogi of the Uganda Peoples Defense Forces for acting unprofessional in a statement he made yesterday against the Presidential aspirant Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi wine.

A senior UPDF officer, who participated in the Bush War, was reported to have said that he doesn’t envisage Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi, being the commander in chief of the armed forces.

Addressing a joint press conference today at Makerere, the Kyambogo University Guild President Jonathan Tundulu said that the senior army officer acted like a personal mercenary for President Museveni to fight the opposition and demeaning Bobi Wine.

Tundulu believes that army and other security agencies should stay away from the politics for peace to prevail in the country.

Meanwhile, Makerere University vice Guild President Judith Nalukwago expressed his concern against police officers and other security operatives for blocking Bobi Wine’s consultation meetings of Kyagulanyi yet he acquired permission from the Electoral Commission.
