The outgoing Bishop of Masaka Diocese Rt. Rev. John Baptist Kaggwa has decried the degenerating freedom of speech and association which are some of the tenets of democracy.

In his Easter message Bishop Kaggwa says selective application of the law on assemblies by the security agencies is bound to cause chaos in this country because they are denying people even their inherent rights.

He has also decried of land grabbing leaving the most vulnerable with no house for shelter as their property is demolished by the so called land lords.

He said unless Ugandans realize their mistakes, stop corruption, murders and laziness Uganda will never transform to middle income level.
