Traders with special needs under their umbrella body Kampala Association of Disabled Company Limited (KADCL) have called upon the office of Inspector General of Government (IGG) and the State House Anti-corruption Unit headed by Lt Col Edith Nakalema to investigate the matter in which their land located on plot No.7A Namirembe Road is said to be in the process of being grabbed by some scrupulous individuals.

Paul Kitimbo, the Secretary of the Association told the media today in Kampala that some leaders in Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) want to take away their land yet it was given to them by President Museveni.

Kitimbo has accused Minister of Kampala Betty Kamya of directly involving in such a deal because she has failed to call a meeting between them and their rival group Kampala District Union of persons with Disabilities.

Meanwhile John King Chairman of the Association has disclosed that KCCA has declined to renew the lease yet some councilors at KCCA such as Sam Gombya and Afuwa  Nalubega plus the Women Mp representing the disabled Safia Nalule are busy negotiating with buyers over the land.

He has vowed for industrial action if responsible Authorities fail to settle their Matter.
