Taxi Drivers’ new leadership swears-in at Wandegeya

Tax drivers are cautioned against recklessness on road to avoid accidents and carnage that has claimed lives.

Sinani Ssempebwa the newly elected chairperson of Wandegeya-Kamwokya-Ntida Stage told the media today at Wandegeya shortly after swearing in and presentation of his cabinet that many drivers blame accidents to bad roads which is not true because a driver must understand his work and the environment he is working in.

Ssempebwa says his tenure will be characterized by discipline and understanding of the tax drivers’ work as a service but not politics because it derails them.

Meanwhile, drivers and conductors are happy with the new leadership which they expect to help in improving on their services.
