The official program for the eulogizing and burial of His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga released by Kampala Archdiocese approved by the Pope Nuncio Archbishop Luigi Bianco and Chairman Uganda Episcopal Conference indicates that;
Today Monday April 5th 2021 there is a requiem mass at Lubaga Cathrdral to pray for the late Archbishop at 2pm. The mass is going to be led by Rt. Rev. Bishop Paul Ssemogerere of Kasana Luweero and this mass is going to be broadcast live here on radio sapientia.
Tomorrow Tuesday April 6, 2021 the body will be taken Kyabakadde and mass will start at midday led by Rt. Rev. Bishop Christopher Kakooza of Lugazi diocese.
On Wednesday April 7, 2021 the body will be taken to Namugongo Uganda Martyrs Shrine and mass will start at 10am led by Rt. Rev. Bishop Siruverus(.Serverus) Jjumba of Masaka diocese.
On Thursday April 8, 2021the celebration of his life and final send off will be at Lubaga Cathedral with Mass stating at 10am led by the Chairman Uganda Episcopal Conference Rt. Rev. Joseph Antony Zziwa also the ordinary of Kiyinda Mityana Diocese.
At all places a few invited guests will attend strictly observing the Ministry of Health guiding principles against the spread of Covid-19.
