Prof Patrick Ogwang of Jenah herbals limited has donated food relief to over 300 homesteads in Kamwokya a Kampala suburb.

 

Speaking at the handover ceremony held at St. Johns COU Kamwokya Ogwang said that it is very important for every Ugandan who can support the needy people to do so as to save lives of vulnerable Ugandans.

 

On receiving the food relief, the woman councilor LC111 Mulago 1 Kababito Grace Amoti revealed that she is getting reports of people stealing food and domestic violence cases due to the increasing financial burden in homes.

 

She also adds that the few residents who managed to receive covid-19 money from government misused it buy drinking alcohol.

 

Prof. Ogwang and Jenah herbals limited use the same function to thank the government of Uganda for supporting his efforts of discovering drugs from the local herbs to save life.

On Wednesday The Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) gave five acres of land to Prof. Patrick Ogwang, to enable him set up his own factory in Soroti industrial park at the same time UIA also handed a free investment licence to Jena Herbals Uganda Limited, the company that produces Covidex that is owned by Prof Ogwang.
