The Members of Parliament from Busoga sub-region have been warned against political differences if Busoga is to achieve development.

This has been said by the former Speaker of parliament and the outgoing Busoga Parliamentary Caucus Chairperson Rebecca Kadaga while handing over the seat of the caucus to the newly elected chairperson Steven Kisa at Kingdom building in Kampala.

Speaking after receiving the responsibility of the chairpersonship of the caucus, Kisa appealed to the fellow Busoga MPs never to allow political segments that divide them but rather work for unity.

He further promised to interact with authority in government to re-open Busoga University which was closed four years back in 2017 by government for issuing fake transcripts.

Kisa also said that the Busoga Caucus will follow on the presidential pledge of setting up a sugar factory for Busoga sugar cane growers to stop the exploitation from Investors.
